Two videos of my classes that were particularly meaningful to me
In those videos, I was teaching to them the topic “second conditional” the session is of two different groups, I made a mistake when explaining this topic, a different one on each group.
In the group A, was something of the topic that I didn’t
know and a student knew, so she corrected me.
In the group B, the material that I used had a writing
mistake in a word, two students made me realize the correct way to write the
word, because I didn’t notice that error.
It makes me realize that we as teacher must be
prepared on the topics we’ll teach, the materials and all; for the knowledge of
our students and for our reputation.
I could learn there is always something new to learn
from others and that we as teachers are also learners in the classroom. I learn
that we as teacher do not know everything so we must be open to our pupils’
correction without being arrogant.
